Ottawa Real Estate Statistics

The Ottawa Real Estate Board reported 1,167 unit sales in March which was a decrease of 15.9% compared with March 2012. The five year average for sales in the month of March is 1,275 units.  The lower level of sales was balanced by the lower number of listings coming on the market which is keeping prices flat. Spring market shows moderating trend

Members of the Ottawa Real Estate Board sold 1,167 residential properties in March through the Board’s Multiple Listing Service® system, compared with 1,388 in March 2012, a decrease of 15.9 per cent. “The Ottawa market has been described as steady and stable for the past few years.
